Founded in 2011, The Yorkton Community Choir currently enjoys a membership of approximately fifty singers from Yorkton and surrounding area. The non-auditioned SATB choir rehearses Monday evenings at the Yorkton Regional High School Choir Room. Our repertoire is widely varied including traditional choral repertoire, jazz, folksongs, spirituals and pop.

We rehearse every Monday from 7:00 – 8:45 pm at the YRHS Choir Room

Fall concert is on at St. Andrew’s United Church in Yorkton.

The Community Choir will participate in the morning session, which is open to anyone.

The fee for each choir member participating is $10. Please pay Gayla or Debbie at choir by October 27th choir practice at the latest. You can also send an eTransfer to: yorkoncommunitychoir@gmail.com

Tina is a wonderful singer and pedagogue. It is wonderful to have this opportunity in Yorkton. She took the position of associate professor of voice at the UofR last year, but has been teaching at the post-secondary level for about a decade.

If there are individuals who are interested in singing a solo in the afternoon masterclass, they can register at the link below and pay an extra $10 fee for that class.
